Prospective patients at Direct Doctors often say, “this is too good to be true.” They rave about how we offer unlimited patient visits, give out our cell phones, and never make anyone wait. Many patients feel the fee is nominal compared to the access and service they receive. But patients often wonder, “If I get really sick, will my fees go up?”
This is an easy one - your fees will not go up when you require more care from us! Direct Primary Care practices, like our family practice here at Direct Doctors, prides ourselves on caring for all types of patients – young and old, big and small, healthy and sick. Patients with multiple chronic issues, complicated concerns, acute illnesses or who just need frequent or long visits will not be turned away, nor will they ever be charged more just because of their condition. Patients who are extremely healthy and are looking for guidance on wellness and holistic preventative care will find a good home here too! Our fees are straightforward. There is no exception or exemption. There is no per-visit fee. Monthly fees for patients 18-64 years old are $99, age 65+ are $115, and under 21 are $60 with a parent subscription. Homebound patient fees are calculated based on geographical location. The evidence is out – access to and time with a primary care doctor who you know and trust improves your health and life expectancy. So, while we won’t turn you down for your chronic medical conditions and we won’t charge you more for being sick, it’s always better to establish care with the right doctor for you before issues get out of hand.
